I'm Spanish and I work as a translator, but my dream is to become a writer one day. I tend to daydream too much, and I'm always coming up with new projects. This is my personal and fanfic journal. To laugh is to risk appearing a fool
To weep is to risk appearing sentimental
To reach out for another is to risk involvement
To expose your feeling is to risk rejection
To place your dreams before the crowd is to risk ridicule
To love is to risk not being loved in return
To go forward in the face of overwhelming odd is to risk failure
But the risk should be taken, because the greatest hazard in life is to risk nothing.
The person who risks nothing does nothing, has nothing, is nothing.
He may avoid suffering and sorrow, but he cannot learn, feel, change, grow, or love.
Chained by his certitudes, he is a slave. He has forfeited his freedom.
Only a person who takes risk is free.


笑うと、バカだと思われるリスクがある
泣くとセンチメンタルだと思われるリスクがある
人にアプローチすると巻き込まれるリスクがある
感情を見せると拒絶されるリスクがある
夢を語るとバカだと思われるリスクがある
愛すると、見返りに愛してもらえないリスクがある
変ったことをしようとすると失敗するリスクがある
しかしリスクは取るべきだ、何故なら、人生において一番危険なことは、何もリスクを取らない事だからだ。
リスクを取らない人は、何もしないし、何も持たないし、何者でもない。
リスクを取らなければ、悲しむことも苦しむこともないだろう。
ただし、それでは、学べない、感じる事が出来ない、変われない、成長できない、そして愛する事も出来ない。
確実なことだけに縛られた、リスクを取らない人は奴隷と同じだ。自由を奪われたも同然だ。
リスクを取る人だけが、『自由』を勝ち取る事が出来るのだ。
